A convicted sex offender from Wexford has been arrested in Arizona.
A nationwide manhunt begun after 56-year-old Daniel Teed didn’t show up to federal prison in January. He was supposed to begin serving a 10-year sentence for committing several crimes, including sex trafficking of children.
Through an investigation, police learned Teed had traveled to Flagstaff, was using an alias and had disguised his appearance in an effort to avoid being captured. However, U.S. Marshals arrested him Monday as he walked out of a hotel.
