A major coal mining company in Western Pennsylvania is merging with a St.-Louis based organization.
Consol Energy announced an all-stock merger with Arch Resources yesterday.
The new coal mining company will be named Core Natural Resources. It’s estimated worth will be $5.2 billion.
The company will also have their headquarters in Washington County.
