A local group is meeting tonight to discuss issues in our community’s watershed.
The Connoquenessing Watershed Alliance will gather Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Penn State Extension office, which sits off Morton Avenue in Butler Township next to the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehab Center.
The purpose of this monthly meeting is to talk about upcoming projects and ways to continue to take care of our local watershed.
The Connoquenessing Watershed Alliance was formed in 1999 and won an environmental award last year for planting over 1,500 seedlings to stabilize the stream bank.
