There’s still time to make the holiday season a little brighter for residents in local care facilities.
Concordia Lutheran Ministries’ annual “Adopt-A-Resident” program is still looking for participants willing to purchase items from wish lists.
Community members, churches, businesses, and other organizations can purchase items that residents use like sweatshirts or sweatpants, door wreaths, stamps and stationary, digital clocks with large numbers, hair salon gift certificates, and slippers or slipper socks. Gift deadlines vary from tomorrow to December 19th depending on location.
For more information, contact the participating Concordia location of your choice including those in Cabot and Cranberry. Monetary contributions are also welcome through the Concordia Lutheran Ministries Foundation.
