A company going door to door in Butler Township is allowed to do so.
According to the Butler Township Police, a company by the name of Planet Energy has obtained the proper permits to solicit in the township.
The company plans to canvass Butler Township neighborhoods for about a week.
They will ask residents to see a current energy bill to offer competitive rates.
