In college football from Saturday:
Michigan fell to Florida in the Peach Bowl 41-15
South Carolina fell to Virginia in the Belk Bowl 28-0
Nevada beat Arkansas State in the Arizona Bowl 16-13
Notre Dame fell to Clemson in the Cotton Bowl 30-3. Clemson will move on to the National Championship on January 7th.
Alabama beat Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl 45-34. Alabama will also move on to the National Championship.
In local college football, Pitt and Penn State are preparing for their respective bowl games. Pitt will play Stanford in the Sun Bowl on Monday (December 31st) at 2pm, and Penn State will play Kentucky in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day.
