Gerrit Cole will start for the Pirates tonight against Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers, who lead the National League Western Division. Kershaw is 9-6 this season with a 2.37 ERA. He leads the majors in strikeouts with 192. Cole leads the majors in wins and is 14-5 with a 2.29 ERA. The Pirates are 11-2 against Western Division teams this season.
