Frigid air moved in Friday and will stick around for Valentine’s Day weekend.
Expect light snow showers Friday and a high near 22. When you factor in the wind chill, it will feel as cold as –8, according to the National Weather Service.
Snow showers will fire up again late Friday, leaving as much as 1-3 inches on the ground. Saturday’s high is near 9 with a wind chill as low as –15. Saturday night’s low is –3, with a wind chill as cold as –13.
A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect from midnight Friday through Sunday morning.
Sunday will be a bit warmer with a high near 17. Could see snow showers again late Sunday into Monday.
