The Cleveland Indians are heading to baseball’s World Series for the first time since 1997 after a 3-0 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays last night. The Indians bullpen held Toronto scoreless over 4-2/3rds innings. The Indians won the American League Championship Series 4-1.
The Chicago Cubs evened the National League Championship Series 2-2 following a 10-2 victory last night in game four of that series. The Cubs scored all 10 runs over the fourth through sixth innings. Anthony Rizzo and Addison Russell hit home runs for the Cubs.
