The 2017 class of the College Football Hall of Fame was announced Monday. It includes former coach Steve Spurrier, who becomes just the fourth individual to be elected as a player and a coach. Spurrier coached at Florida, South Carolina and Duke. He won the Heisman Trophy in 1966. Also included is former Clemson coach Danny Ford along with players: Peyton Manning-Tennessee quarterback, Marshall Faulk-San Diego State running back, Kirk Gibson-Michigan wide receiver and New Mexico linbacker-Brian Urlacher.
