A project to improve the sidewalks at the Tier Parking Garage in downtown Butler is moving forward.
A contract for just over $28,000 from the parking budget has been awarded by Butler City Council to Troy Jay Construction of Slippery Rock, who was the lowest of four bidders for the project.
The work will include the installation of ADA-compliant sidewalks, curbs and detectible warning service mats, as well as the repairing of cracks and grinding of trip hazards.
This project will begin sometime in the next 45 days and be completed in five days once it has begun.
