A new paver is allowing the City of Butler Streets Department to accomplish a large amount of work easier and faster.
At Thursday’s Butler City Council meeting, Councilman Rick Schontz informed those in attendance about the projects the Streets Department is tackling in house.
Pepperland and Spang streets have already been completed, while the crew is currently working on North Jackson. Also in the works are projects on Eisler, Peffer, Wilson and Forcht streets.
The city purchased their new mini-paver from Butler Township this past spring for $2,000.
