The City of Butler is now accepting applications for open positions on two of their authorities.
Both the Butler Area Sewer Authority and the Butler Parks, Recreation Grounds and Facilities Authority (also known as the Stadium Authority) currently have openings due to recent resignations.
Those interested in these volunteer positions should submit a Boards and Authorities Interest Form, which can be obtained from the office of the City Clerk or online at cityofbutler.org.
The deadline to submit a form for these openings is July 15. Council plans to name replacements at their meeting next month.
