Butler City Council is asking for help from the local community as they look forward to a summer celebration.
Butler City Mayor Bob Dandoy brought up the topic of the city’s annual Fourth of July fireworks display at last week’s meeting of Butler City Council.
City officials have already reached out to fireworks providers about this year’s display. In the past, the city has had a $15,000 display and although some fireworks money has been set aside in this year’s city budget, more is needed.
Residents, businesses, or organizations interested in donating to the city’s fireworks display are asked to contact the city for more information.
