Butler City Police officers had a busy holiday weekend.
From Friday through Monday, the department handled over 200 different incidents with no excessive delays in response.
This includes 26 vehicle stops with 12 citations issued and several investigations still pending. City Police also made nine arrests ranging from a large drug bust to drunk and disorderly conduct.
Five minor crashes took place in the city during that time but no injuries were reported. Several activities took place without incident including the City fireworks display Monday night.
Any resident experiencing an emergency in the City is asked to report through the Butler County 911 Center but the City Police website is still available for informational purposes.
