The various parties with a stake in the Butler city-owned Bantam Jeep will meet in the near future to hopefully come to a resolution.
Councilman Mike Walter plans to coordinate a meeting sometime next month between the Butler County Historical Society, the Jeep Festival Committee and the Old Stone House Chapter of the Antique Car Association.
A couple people brought the topic up again at Thursday night’s Butler City Council meeting, saying there will be no jeep in the upcoming Veterans Day parade but there should be.
Walter thinks the vehicle should be displayed often and he believes that he has a plan that would benefit everyone if the parties can agree to cooperate.
