The City of Butler has released their guidelines for the proper disposal of leaves this spring.
Residents are asked to participate in curbside leaf collection by calling the Streets Department 724-285-8440 when leaves are ready for collection or for more information.
This service will continue through May 13th.
The leaf disposal area at Memorial Park will remain closed this spring as a result of people dumping other brush, rubbish, and garbage there in the past. Leaf burning is also NOT permitted this year as a potential hazard to public health.
