Downtown Butler’s new parking garage was set to open Tuesday but has now been pushed back to the end of the week.
The garage will sit on East Cunningham Street and is part of Butler’s ‘Centre City’ project that also includes a new Rite Aid and hotel all in the same block.
Drivers will be able to begin using the garage on Friday, Nov. 4 but electrical and plumbing work is expected to continue until the end of the month.
City officials say the project is about $50,000 under budget.
