A local woman has been charged as a result of a drug raid Wednesday in downtown Butler.
According to a criminal complaint filed by State Police, 52-year-old Dawnetta Mentzer is facing charges including felony possession of a controlled substance.
Shortly before 2 p.m. members of the Troop D Vice Unit executed a search warrant in the 400 block of West Penn Street. Mentzer was found in the living room and a plastic baggie of suspected crack cocaine was allegedly found in her possession. A variety of other drug paraphernalia was found in other parts of the house.
Mentzer was taken into custody and booked into the Butler County Prison.
