Another step in the possible sale of the Butler Area Sewer Authority is planned for this week as Butler City Council will vote on a confidentiality agreement with Pennsylvania American Water.
This vote is scheduled to take place at the Council meeting scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. at the City Building.
If approved by Butler City Council, the agreement will then go back to the authority for a 60 day review. Butler Township Commissioners already approved this same agreement earlier this month.
The exact parameters of the agreement as well as timeline on a possible sale will be discussed and the public is welcome to attend.
