Butler City will collect nearly $9,000 from equipment Butler City Council has approved for sale.
Stoneboro Borough has bid $5,100 for the city’s 1995 Elgin Street Sweeper. In August, council approved a motion to purchase a used 2013 Pelican P Three Wheel Boom Street Sweeper for $137,500.
City Council also accepted a bid of almost $3,500 from Dalmatian Fire Equipment, Inc. for surplus breathing apparatus equipment. That equipment was purchased 10 years ago using grant money but city firefighters were able to get new replacements recently.
