One Neighborhood Pride Award was given out at the Butler City Council meeting Thursday.
The residence at 371 North Main Street received the recognition with owner Lorraine DiDomenico accepting. Councilman Kenny Bonus commended DiDomenico on the great first impression her Market House property gives visitors entering the city from that direction.
A nomination application must be submitted to the four-person Neighborhood Pride Committee in order to be considered for an award. The purpose of the award is to recognize a residence or business in the city who has displayed obvious and abundant pride in their property.
