The 2018 paving projects for the city of Butler have been announced.
Streets to be milled and paved include:
-Charles Street from North Main to North McKean
-Carbon Street from 2nd Street to Jefferson Street
-Cliff Street from Jefferson to Cunningham
-Cedar Street from Cunningham Street to Diamond Street
Streets that will receive a single seal tar and chip include:
-Coal Street from Pittsburgh Road to the end
-Pittsburgh Pike from Pittsburgh Road to the city line
-Goldwood Avenue from Hansen Avenue to 6th
-Becker Avenue from Diamond to Hazel Streets
City Council approved bids for two contracts totaling over $185,000 with A. Liberoni Inc. to provide the paving and curb ramp and sidewalk replacement.
