Butler County will be hosting a drive-through Christmas light show this year.
The Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau is bringing Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland to the Big Butler Fairgrounds, nightly, beginning Nov. 20 and running through Jan. 31.
This award-winning light show coming from Bristol, Tennessee integrates cutting-edge technology, lights and music, with custom-built, animated elements featuring 100 percent environmentally friendly LED lights. Merchandise will also available for purchase in Santa’s Village.
Jack Cohen, President of Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau, said this is an opportunity to bring an established, family-oriented winter event to Butler County.
“We’re an events driven business with the majority of activities in the spring and summer. This was our opportunity to bring an established, family-oriented winter event to Butler County. As soon as I was introduced to it, I was hooked and I knew our community would be too,” Cohen said.
The cost is $25 per carload, $40 for a mini-bus, limousine or activity van, and $80 for school or tour buses.
Shadrack hosted its first light show in 2007 and received tremendous response prompting an expansion to six locations each winter.
