A shooting over the weekend in Chicora has left one man in critical condition and another facing attempted homicide charges.
According to State Police, the incident occurred just before 2 a.m. Sunday morning at the Millerstown Inn in Chicora Borough.
56-year–old Gary Ellenberger of Chicora is accused of shooting 27-year-old Heath Schrecengost of Karns City one time in the upper torso area with a firearm while inside the Millerstown Inn.
Ellenberger fled the scene but was later apprehended by State Police without incident. Schrecengost is currently in critical condition.
