The State Police Fire Marshal Unit is investigating after an East Brady woman allegedly set a Chicora home on fire last week.
Authorities say that around 9pm on Wednesday, a home on Water Street in Chicora caught fire, which resulted in nearly $7,000 worth of damage. No injuries were reported.
Upon further investigation, State Police then charged 31-year-old Nichole Slagle with multiple charges in relation to the incident. Some of those charges include Arson and Criminal Attempt Burglary among others.
No additional information was available about the ongoing investigation.
