There is a charity ride this weekend that will benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
Laura Ebbert, the Western Pa. Task Force Leader for the organization, spoke to our radio station group and said it will be a ride escorted by police.
“It’s a rare event to be on your motorcycle and not have to put your feet down,” Ebbert said.
This event will be on Sunday, August 7, 2016. It will begin and end at Seneca Valley High School in Harmony. You can meet at the senior high’s soccer field. Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. with the ride at 10:30 a.m., rain or shine.
The route will be Route 19 north, through Moraine State Park, to Route 8, onto Route 68, and then back to the school through Harmony.
The mission of the event is to help give kids who are battling brain tumors a brighter future.
