There have been some curriculum changes for students at Mars Area High School.
Starting next school year, all freshman students will be required to take a nine-week Foundations of Business course. All high school students will now have the option of taking two new full-year courses, AP Computer Science Principles and Calculus. And, there were also changes made to health and physical education classes and requirements.
The school board is also considering increasing the number of credits required to graduate from Mars High School. That move has not yet been passed.
