The public is invited to attend a fundraising event later this week to benefit a great local cause.
The Butler Chamber of Commerce is holding the Dan Swartz Memorial Clay Shoot at the Castlewood Rod and Gun Club in Elwood City Friday.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a hot breakfast followed by the shooting tournament, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, 100 shotgun shells per shooter, and the use of carts. Participants will also enjoy a catered meal after the event with an open bar, 50/50, and gun raffle.
The cost to join in is $600 for a foursome with proceeds to benefit the Stan Kosciuszko Small Business Leadership Butler County Scholarship. Visit the Chamber website to reserve a spot.
