For the second day in a row, some residents in Center Township woke to find no running water.
Pennsylvania American Water spokesman Melissa Walters said a water main broke sometime overnight on Cherokee Drive in the Timberly Heights neighborhood and affected residents there and in Timbur Ridge. The outage was restored by 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Today’s outages come after about 20 residents in Timberly Heights woke to find no running water Tuesday morning after a water main break on Sunset Drive.
Walters said both lines were the same size and likely broke due to age.
