With warm temperatures expected today, Central Electric is issuing another peak alert.
CEC is asking customers to conserve energy by turning off all non-essential electric items and set air conditioners to 78 degrees.
Also, they say that items like pool pumps, dehumidifiers, and other electrical are best used outside of the peak period from 1 to 7 p.m.
The CEC says that small adjustments to electrical usage can help save money during high demand hours.
The high temperature today is expected to be near 90 degrees.
