A local teacher has been awarded a grant from the Central Electric Cooperative.
As part of their Bright Ideas program, CEC presented a check for over $820 to St. Luke Lutheran School seventh grade science teacher Melissa Busler. St. Luke Lutheran School is located near Cabot.
The money will be used to purchase energy conservation kits and infrared temperature guns to help with a project on energy resources and conservation.
The Bright Ideas Teacher grant helps fund energy-related learning projects and is eligible to teachers of kindergarten through 12th grade in the Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Forest, and Venango counties. To learn more about this program, visit central.coop.
