The Carnegie Science Center is offering classes for teachers and parents interested in improving their skills in science, technology, engineering and math.
The Teaching Excellence Academy will launch this fall and includes opportunities for instructors at all levels.
Professional development workshops will be held on topics such as curriculum using games and classroom strategies to get kids asking more questions and formulating better answers. Also, various hands-on workshops will be held in the Science Center’s Fab Lab to allow for interactive engineering design.
