The result of many months of hard work will be unveiled at an event Monday at VA Butler Healthcare.
To celebrate National Women’s History Month, VA Butler will be presented a quilt in during a ceremony at their New Castle Road facility beginning at 1 p.m.
The quilt is made up of individually designed squares, each dedicated to the memory of a woman veteran. Squares may include information like dates served, rank, branch of service and name.
Those expected to attend Monday’s event include women veterans who donated squares, VA leadership, VA staff and volunteers.
