No one was injured when a vehicle crashed into the Grove City Community Library.
According to Grove City Police, 85-year-old Joan Bauer of Grove City was attempting to turn into a parking space in front of the library on Tuesday morning when she apparently hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.
Her vehicle accelerated through a railing and crashed into the library’s front wall.
Although Bauer was not injured, her vehicle did need to be towed and she has been cited for careless driving.
Police described the damage to the building as ‘substantial.’
