Moraine State Park will offer a canoe workshop later this week at their Outdoor Center on the North Shore of Lake Arthur.
On Wednesday from 9am until 2pm, a Cook Forest naturalist along with other canoeing enthusiasts will teach attendees the essentials of canoeing.
Some topics that will be covered include how weather influences how you paddle, along with other tips for safety and paddling on Lake Arthur.
Canoes will be available for those attending. However, those who own canoes are asked to bring their own.
Pre registration is required for the event. To reserve your spot, call the park office at 724-368-8811.
