As former Attorney General Kathleen Kane was sentenced to jail Monday for her perjury conviction, the two men competing for her old title faced off in a debate.
Democrat Josh Shapiro and Republican John Rafferty hold very different opinions on issues such as gun control and how to fight corruption in the state capital.
Shapiro accused his opponent of only looking out for the GOP.
Rafferty countered that Shapiro’s law firm is part of the lobbying problem in Harrisburg…and said he would be committed to the AG’s office.
Whoever wins will be charged with rebuilding trust in a beleaguered office.
