Slippery Rock University has issued a Campus Safety Alert following an incident that occurred over the weekend.
A sexual assault is alleged to have happened on Saturday evening behind Ginger Hill Tavern in Slippery Rock Borough, according to email from the university that was sent to students and staff on Tuesday.
The assault was reported Monday to the University through Student Health Services.
SRU reminds students to be conscious of surroundings at all times and report any suspicious people or activities to University Police, Slippery Rock Borough Police, State Police or by calling 911.
