This week, Cam earns her very first Top 10 record on the radio with her chart-climbing smash, “Burning House,” which also recently became her first RIAA-certified Gold record. Cam got the Gold news at a surprise toast at her record label, and she tells us she’s so grateful for the way that fans have embraced “Burning House.” “People really care about this record. I don’t know. I can see it in people’s faces when I play it live that they all have this, like, sad face. They’ve all been there. And so everyone’s sharing this, like, emotional moment, and I feel like that’s kind of what this represents: this Gold record represents that this is like a real feeling that I had, and it’s a real feeling that everybody has. It’s really nice; it feels less lonely (laughs).”
“Burning House” will be among the songs on Cam’s full-length major-label debut album, called Untamed, set for release on December 11th. The project features 11 songs, all co-written by Cam. Untamed is available for pre-order now on Amazon.
