A Cabot woman was hurt late Sunday after she crashed head-on into a tree.
The accident happened about 11:30 p.m. on Route 528, just north of Jo Deener Drive.
Sheila Morrison, 19, was trapped in her vehicle and was cut out by firefighters, Jackson Township Police say. She was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with moderate to serious injuries. Her condition is unknown Monday.
The crash closed Route 528 to Interstate 79 for about an hour.
It’s unknown what caused Morrison to crash. No other vehicles were involved.
