Butler VA Medical Center has announced that Director David Cord will be stepping down from his position voluntarily effective Monday (1/8).
A press release from VA Healthcare says that Cord and the VA are in agreement that appointing a new leader is in the best interests of the facility and the veterans served by the Butler VA.
Effective Monday, Philadelphia VAMC Associate Director for Clinical Operations Patricia OKane will assume the duties of acting director in Butler.
Cord will be reassigned to a position at the Veterans Health Administration’s Procurement and Logistics office in Pittsburgh.
