A new Butler tradition will continue this Labor Day weekend.
The first annual Butler Italian Festival, which kicked off Friday night, will continue through Labor Day on Monday.
This free event will stretch from Diamond Street to Jefferson Street and will include classic Italian cuisine, cooking demonstrations, live music, and a Kids Zone. The festival will be open from noon to 9pm on Sunday, and noon to 6pm on Monday.
Sunday from 2 to 4 pm, The Rock Station 97.7 is hosting a Meatball Eating Contest. Tracey Morgan will be broadcasting live and meatballs will be provided by Dolce Mia’s Bakery.
