Some parts of the city of Butler were temporarily under water during Monday’s storms.
Visitors and workers at the Snack-N-Pack restaurant on East Jefferson Street took video of a flooded parking lot and street.
Amanda Mitchell was dining at the restaurant when the heavy downpours started. She took pictures of a flooded parking lot before going back inside to finish her meal.
“All of the staff, including Karen who is the owner, were fast acting and very accommodating,” Mitchell said.
That part of town has been a hot spot for flooding in recent weeks.
Monday’s storms, however, were nothing compared to what the city experienced last July when torrential rainfall flooded Sullivan Run damages hundreds of homes.
