Six western Pennsylvania airports will share money from the state to fund improvement projects.
The Butler County Airport- recently renamed the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport- will receive $135,000 to improve drains, taxiways, gates and fencing.
The Zelienople Municipal Airport in Beaver County will receive $375,000 in state money for a fueling facility construction project.
Washington County will receive the largest single award in our area- $1 million to purchase an existing hangar and additional office space.
