The family of a Butler woman, who is now a suspect in a Florida homicide, waited eight years to report her missing.
Pennsylvania State Police investigators told WPXI-TV that Kimberly Kessler was first reported missing by her family in 2012…but she actually disappeared in 2004.
Investigators say they did not expect this was a legit missing person. They determined Kessler wasn’t in any danger and that she in fact didn’t want to be found.
Kessler apparently took the identity of a woman named Jennifer Sybert, who died more than 30 years ago and is buried at North Side Cemetery in Butler.
Kessler was living in Jacksonville with the alias Jennifer Sybert. She is the prime suspect in the disappearance of her co-worker Joleen Cumings.
