A Butler woman is facing up to 20 years in prison and a large fine for her role in stealing Social Security money from the government.
54-year-old Amy Snow pled guilty in federal court this week to one count of Theft of Government Funds.
According to Department of Justice officials, Snow falsely reported her spouse was not a member of her household between 2013 and 2017 which resulted in a theft of over $45,000.
Snow has been granted bond pending sentencing at a later date.
