A Butler woman is accused of welfare fraud.
Cindy Jo McFadden, 36, illegally received nearly $900 in federal food stamps last year, according to the state Inspector General’s Office.
Officials say while applying for and collecting benefits, McFadden failed to disclose she was also receiving unemployment compensation at the time.
She will face a Butler County judge later this month.
