A local township will again receive regional recognition at an upcoming ceremony.
Butler Township is one of over 80 regional organizations to be named a Banner Community by the Allegheny League of Municipalities.
This is the 11th year of the program that recognizes communities committed to professional development, prudent fiscal management, transparency, sustainability, and proactive communications.
Butler and Cranberry Townships are the only Butler County members of this non-profit organization which educates elected officials and delivers essential resources as well as advocates for sound policy and legislation.
