The Butler Township Planning Commission has approved two new land development plans.
The commission approved plans by Baglier Buick to build an auto detailing shop on Route 8 adjacent to the Comfort Inn.
Plans were also approved for a new Mattress Warehouse store on New Castle Road, next to Grand Rental Station.
Township Manager Tom Knights says plans from Kentucky Fried Chicken to relocate their New Castle restaurant down the road were tabled for the time being.
