The Butler Township Magistrate’s office will be moving soon.
The county commissioners approved a new 10-year-lease at the former Friedman’s headquarters location on Fairground Hill Road.
Commissioners say the magistrate’s office at the current location on the Sunnyview property is difficult to maintain and is not financially feasible.
Work is set to begin soon on the location, although no timetable was given on when the new magistrate’s office would open.
The commissioners also added that the magistrate’s office on the Sunnyview property would most likely go up for sale after the move.
